Teaching Neuroscience with AI
Columbia Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) student Bovey Rao developed Synapse Scholar, an AI tool that provides personalized support for students in the process of reading a scientific journal article. The tool uses the scientific method as a framework to ensure students understand critical components of the paper and it provides feedback on misunderstandings as well as explanations of unfamiliar terms.
